Mozilla has released Firefox 70 and security advisory to address multiple vulnerabilities.
Firefox 70 includes fixes for one critical and three high severity vulnerabilities, as well as 8 moderate and one low severity bugs.
As noted in the security advisory 2019-34, the critical vulnerability CVE-2019-11764 patched is a memory safety bug in Firefox 70.
“Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could be exploited to run arbitrary code,” Mozilla warned.
In addition, Mozilla also released security updates to Firefox ESR 68.2 on Tuesday.
