Google has released Chrome 83.0.4103.97 for Windows, Mac and Linux. In addition, the company also released new versions of Chrome for iOS and Android.
An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities to take control of impacted systems.
The Chrome security update addresses 5 security fixes, to include the following 4 high severity vulnerabilities:
- CVE-2020-6493: Use after free in WebAuthentication
- CVE-2020-6494: Incorrect security UI in payments
- CVE-2020-6495: Insufficient policy enforcement in developer tools
- CVE-2020-6496: Use after free in payments.
In addition, Google addressed two Medium severity vulnerabilities in Chrome for iOS release (83.0.4103.88). Those issues include CVE-2020-6497 and CVE-2020-6498.
Finally, Chrome 83 (83.0.4103.96) for Android was also available for download.
