Adobe releases security updates for Adobe Acrobat and Reader (APSB21-37)

Adobe has released security updates to address multiple vulnerabilities in Adobe Acrobat and Reader, Adobe Connect, Photoshop, Experience Manager, Creative Cloud Desktop Application, RoboHelp Server, Photoshop Elements, Premiere Elements, After Effects and Animate.

An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities and potentially take over impacted systems.

Adobe Acrobat and Reader

The Adobe Acrobat and Reader for Windows and macOS security update (APSB21-37) addresses 5 Critical vulnerabilities:

  • CVE-2021-28554, CVE-2021-28551: Out-of-bounds Read
  • CVE-2021-28552, CVE-2021-28631, CVE-2021-28632: User after free.

Adobe warned that a successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could lead to remote code execution.
