WordPress has released WordPress 5.9.2 security and maintenance update that includes fixes for three vulnerabilities.
Exploitation of some of these vulnerabilities could result in a denial of service condition.
According to the WordPress 5.9.2 security release, the following 3 security issues have been fixed:
- Prototype Pollution Vulnerability in a jQuery dependency
- Stored Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability
- Prototype Pollution Vulnerability in the block editor.
The next major release will be WordPress version 6.0.
