UK based CeX has notified two million customers of a security breach that may have compromised personal data to include first names, surnames, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers, as well as small number of encrypted, expired payment cards up to 2009.
CeX recommends customers change their passwords and any other login accounts using the same password.
CeX is a second hand goods chain based in the United Kingdom and specializes in the buying, selling and exchanging of technology, computing and entertainment products.
The company was established in 1992 in London, and has since grown to more than 350 stores in the UK and over 100 in countries such as Spain, USA, Ireland, India, Australia, Portugal, Netherlands, Mexico, Poland and Canarias.
