Apple released security updates that address vulnerabilities in multiple products, to include iOS, macOS, Safari, iCloud, iTunes and tvOS.Â
The latest iOS 12.1.1 update fixes 20 vulnerabilities to include Airport (1), Disk Images (1), Facetime (1), File Provider (1), Webkit (6), Kernel (5), Safari (3), LinkPresentation (1) and Profiles (1).
The iOS Webkit updates address six remote code execution bugs that could lead to memory corruption. One of the iOS kernel vulnerabilities (CVE-2018-4435) could allow a malicious application to elevate privileges. Two other bugs (CVE-2018-4447 and CVE-2018-4461) could allow an application to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.
Apple also provided updates for Mac operating systems to include: macOS Mojave 10.14.2, Security Update 2018-003 High Sierra, Security Update 2018-006 Sierra.
