Google has released Chrome 75 (version 75.0.3770.80) for Windows, Mac and Linux. The company also published details for its Chrome 75 update for Android as well.
The latest Chrome update includes 42 security fixes. Two of the bugs rated High severity were discovered by external researchers. For instance, one of the bug fixes addresses a ‘use after free in ServiceWorker’ vulnerability (CVE-2019-5828). The other fix addresses a ‘use after free Download Manager’ flaw (CVE-2019-5829).
In addition, Chrome 75 addresses 8 Medium and 3 Low severity flaws, also discovered by researchers.
Google also released Chrome 75 (75.0.3770.67) for Android. The Android update includes feature, stability and performance improvements as well.
For instance, Google says users can now generate strong and unique passwords with Chrome’s built-in password manager. In addition, users can quickly look up their own passwords by tapping any password field and using the new keyboard option.
