Nearly four million Time Warner Cable (TWC) customer records were left exposed online via a third party data leak.
The records were stored on an unsecured Amazon server and discovered by Kromtech Security Center back on August 24 last month.
The exposed files were more than 600GB in size and stored on two Amazon S3 buckets linked back to the TWC third party, BroadSoft, Gizmodo reports.Â
