Google has released a new security update for Chrome browser 77.0.3865.90 for Windows, Mac and Linux.
The latest update released on September 18 includes four security fixes. One of the fixes addresses a Critical ‘Use-after-free in UI’ vulnerability CVE-2019-13685, discovered by security researcher Khalil Zhani.
In addition, external researchers discovered three other high severity bugs to include:
- CVE-2019-13688: Use-after-free in media.
- CVE-2019-13687: Use-after-free in media.
- CVE-2019-13686: Use-after-free in offline pages.
Google also released Chrome 77 (77.0.3865.92) for Android on Wednesday.
This is the first security update since Google released Chrome 77 on September 10.
