Google has released Chrome 100.0.4896.75 for Windows, Mac and Linux with fixes for just one High risk vulnerability. In addition, Google also issued security updates for Chrome for iOS, Chrome for Android and LTS-96.
An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities to take control of impacted systems.
The latest Chrome 100 security update (100.0.4896.75) patched one High severity ‘Type Confusion in V8’ vulnerability CVE-2022-1232.
Moreover, Google also released security updates for Chrome 100 (100.0.4896.79) for Android and Chrome 100 (100.0.4896.77) for iOS.
Finally, Google released patches for LTS-96 in the Long Term Support (LTS) channel to 96.0.4664.204 (Platform Version: 14268.79.0) with fixes for three vulnerabilities.
