Google has released Chrome 101.0.4951.41 for Windows, Mac and Linux with fixes for 30 vulnerabilities, to include seven rated High severity.
An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities to take control of impacted systems.
The latest Chrome 101 security update (101.0.4951.41) patched the following seven High severity vulnerabilities contributed by external researchers:
- CVE-2022-1477: Use after free in Vulkan.
- CVE-2022-1478: Use after free in SwiftShader.
- CVE-2022-1479: Use after free in ANGLE.
- CVE-2022-1480: Use after free in Device API.
- CVE-2022-1481: Use after free in Sharing.
- CVE-2022-1482: Inappropriate implementation in WebGL.
- CVE-2022-1483: Heap buffer overflow in WebGPU.
Moreover, Google also released security updates for Chrome 101 (101.0.4951.41) for Android and Chrome 101 (101.0.4951.44) for iOS.
