Google has released a new security update for Chrome browser 76.0.3809.100 for Windows, Mac and Linux.
The latest update released on August 6 includes four security fixes. In addition, external security researchers discovered one High and one Medium severity as listed below (along with researcher who discovered):
- High severity CVE-2019-5868: Use-after-free in PDFium ExecuteFieldAction (Reported by banananapenguin on 2019-07-14).
- Medium severity CVE-2019-5867: Out-of-bounds read in V8 (Reported by Lucas Pinheiro, Microsoft Browser Vulnerability Research on 2019-07-15).
These latest security updates come after Google released Chrome 76 on August 1.
